Chamber Honors Tread Syfan With W.G. Mealor Award

Stewart Melvin & Frost partner Tread Syfan was honored with the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s W.G. Mealor Chairman’s Choice Award at the chamber’s 115th Annual Meeting & Gala.

The award is given annually to the chamber volunteer who has gone “beyond the call of duty.” Chamber Chairman William Bagwell presented Syfan with the award which is named for W.G. Mealor, the chamber’s first chairman.

Syfan serves as General Counsel and Secretary for the Gainesville and Hall County Development Authority. With his involvement in economic development over the past 40 years, Syfan has been instrumental in the creation of industrial parks and the recruitment of companies that help support the healthy growth of our community.
