Regional law firm’s newest partner specializes in workers’ comp defense

GAINESVILLE, Ga. (April 15, 2013) –Charles Elton (Chuck) DuBose Jr., a legal specialist in workers compensation defense litigation, has been named a partner at Stewart, Melvin & Frost, one of northeast Georgia’s oldest and largest regional law firms.

Since 2000, DuBose has focused his practice on workers’ comp defense work, primarily representing employers, insurers and third-party administrators. His client base spans the manufacturing, retail, insurance, banking, healthcare, trucking and construction industries.

“Chuck DuBose has built a strong workers’ compensation defense practice over the course of his career,” said Randall Frost, managing partner of Stewart, Melvin & Frost in Gainesville, Ga. “He is a great addition to our firm, and our clients will benefit tremendously from his knowledge and experience in this highly specialized field.”

DuBose joins Amanda Yenerall, another partner with Stewart, Melvin & Frost, in the firm’s workers’ comp division. Yenerall also has focused her practice on representation of employers, insureds and self-insureds in workers’ compensation legal claims and appeals.

In addition to his workers’ compensation practice, DuBose is experienced in personal injury litigation, subrogation, criminal defense and domestic relations. He is nationally recognized by legal rating service Martindale Hubbell as AV Preeminent, the highest peer review ranking among AV-rated attorneys in the area of legal ability and ethical standards.

Founded in 1936, Stewart, Melvin & Frost specializes in a broad range of key legal services, including business law, tax and estate planning, municipal bond financing, real estate transactions, litigation, and mediation services.
