Mark W. Alexander of Stewart, Melvin & Frost LLP in Gainesville was re-elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the 50,000-member State Bar of Georgia. He was installed June 9 during the organization’s annual meeting.
Alexander will continue to serve in the Northeastern Judicial Circuit, Post 1 seat on the board, representing Dawson and Hall counties.
He earned his law degree from the Walter F. George Law School at Mercer University and was admitted to the State Bar in 1990. His law practice is focused on personal injury, wrongful death and trucking accident cases. He is also a past president of the Gainesville-Northeastern Bar Association.
The Board of Governors is the 160-member policy making authority of the State Bar, with representation from each of Georgia’s judicial circuits.
