Andrew Gould, a trial lawyer with expertise in jury focus groups, has joined Stewart, Melvin & Frost to partner with attorney Mark Alexander and form Northeast Georgia’s newest litigation team specializing in cases involving victims of serious personal injury and wrongful death.
Gould most recently was an associate with The Keenan Law Firm, a plaintiff’s practice based in Atlanta. He has presented at numerous seminars nationwide, speaking on topics ranging from jury focus groups, depositions, and damages to many other aspects of trial strategies. He remains a faculty member of the Keenan-Ball Trial Lawyers College, where he teaches rules drafting, case selection, focus groups, and mediation.
As part of his litigation experience throughout the country, Gould developed an expertise in conducting jury focus groups to gain a deeper understanding of key issues in his clients’ cases. This insight also allowed him to better position his cases for success at trial. Drawing from his work, Gould co-authored a book on jury focus group strategies, policies and procedures.
“Andrew brings his focus group skills to Stewart, Melvin & Frost as a strategic service not only to our firm’s clients, but also to collaborate with other law firms across the Northeast Georgia region and nationwide,” said Alexander, a former prosecutor and longtime partner at the law firm.
Combining their respective talents, Alexander and Gould have formed a personal injury practice that will utilize a team approach on behalf of clients.
A native of Chatsworth, Gould is a graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, TN, where he was a placekicker on the school’s football team. He received his law degree from New England Law | Boston in May 2012.
Gould and his wife, Lindsay, who is also an attorney, are the parents of a young son, Wyatt. Their family lives in Sugar Hill and attends Christ the King Lutheran Church (https://ctklutheran.org/) in Cumming.
